Banco Macro

This project for the headquarters of Banco Macro is a 30 storey tower on a 53,000m² site in downtown Buenos Aires. Our work from concept, detail design to construction documentation phases supports the interior and exterior architectural concepts. The project scope includes the main double height entrance lobby, lift lobbies and circulation areas, a subterranean auditorium and triple-height presidential offices with views of the city and river. The lighting solutions and luminaires used throughout are aligned with the goal of achieving LEED Gold certification.

The identity of the tower is reinforced through the discreet integration of the lighting to the perimeter at each floor. This follows the sculptural subtle form of the tower with its highly reflective curtain wall glazing. The external identity of the building is reinforced with a low maintenance and sustainable lighting solution to the external canopy at the top of the tower. A complementary exterior lighting scheme has been coordinated with the landscaping design to the plot.
