QUEENS GATE AND QUEENS GATE MEWS
Conversion of a former hotel and Grade II listed building into 18 high quality luxury apartments plus 2 independent mews houses. The client’s desire to achieve a classic contemporary aesthetic and feel was reflected in the integration of lighting details into the architecture and interior finishes and the specification of luminaires.
STUDIO ZIGZAG’s remit ran from the creation and implementation of a holistic lighting concept to run through the various different buildings and spaces, seeing it through via a detail design package and specifications, including the coordination and supervision of the audio-visual and electrical sub-contractors, remotely and on-site. Throughout the design process, coordinated with the architect, engineer, an eye was kept on the budget being in line with the client’s requirements and where necessary changes were made to specifications to suit.
